SPC Digital Redesigns

This family of five magazines needed redesigns, each distinct and distinguished yet following the same underlying structure.

After wireframes were completed, a basic framework for each page type was designed. This essential framework would be used for each of the five websites to speed development and reduce upkeep.

Through color and brand identifiers, each site would remain unique yet feel like a part of the same network.

Catering mostly to a female audience, the redesigns couldn't alienate the existing user base. Attention was given to temper the masculinity of the page grid with softer, more feminine colors and tones.

Lush photography is one of the best assets of these magazine brands. Therefore, every opportunity was given for the photography to stand out on the page.
